SECTION 6 — STORE TERMS
6.1 Orders
To place an order you must:
• provide accurate personal information
• provide a valid delivery address within Europe
• be legally capable of entering a contract.
Adding items to a cart does not guarantee availability.
6.2 Order Acceptance
Orders are accepted when a shipment confirmation email is issued.
6.3 Shipping
We currently ship within Europe.
Estimated delivery:
• 3–5 business days for in-stock gemstones
• 6–8 weeks for jewellery production
Carrier delays are outside our control.
6.4 Pricing
Prices are listed in Euro and include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
SECTION 7 — GEMSTONE SOURCING & BESPOKE JEWELLERY SERVICES
Valentina Leardi – Jewellery and Gemstones offers:
• gemstone sourcing (brokering)
• bespoke jewellery design
• made-to-order jewellery
These services may be commissioned individually or combined.
Due to the personalized nature of these services, they are considered custom-made goods under EU consumer law and are not subject to standard withdrawal rights once work begins.
7.1 Gemstone Sourcing (Gemstone Brokering)
Upon request, we may source natural gemstones through our network of trusted international suppliers.
Clients are presented with gemstone options matching requested specifications and the agreed purchase amount.
Deposit
To secure a gemstone:
A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the agreed purchase amount is required.
This deposit compensates sourcing work, supplier commitments, and administrative costs.
Final Payment
The remaining 50% balance must be paid before the gemstone is shipped from our premises to the client.
Certification
All brokered gemstones are delivered with an independent gemological certificate issued by a recognized laboratory.
Natural Stone Disclaimer
Natural gemstones may show variations in:
• color
• inclusions
• optical characteristics
These natural features do not constitute defects.
7.2 Bespoke Jewellery Design & Production
We offer bespoke jewellery created in collaboration with the client.
The process typically includes:
• design consultation
• gemstone selection
• design approval
• production.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the agreed final jewellery price is required before production begins.
Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid before shipment from our premises.
Stone Approval Before Setting
For projects involving gemstones, the selected stone will be presented for approval before setting.
Once a gemstone has been mounted into the jewellery piece, it cannot be replaced or returned.
7.3 Combined Gemstone Sourcing & Jewellery Creation
For projects involving both gemstone sourcing and jewellery creation:
• 50% non-refundable deposit of the total project budget is required before gemstone sourcing begins
• 50% balance due before shipment from our premises
7.4 Jewellery Design Using a Gemstone from Our Stock
Clients may commission jewellery using gemstones already owned by Valentina Leardi – Jewellery and Gemstones.
Payment terms:
• 100% payment of the gemstone price when the stone is reserved for the project
• 50% non-refundable deposit of the jewellery production price before production begins
• remaining 50% of jewellery production price due before shipment
Once a gemstone from our inventory is reserved for a bespoke project it is considered committed to that project and cannot be refunded.
SECTION 8 — MADE-TO-ORDER JEWELLERY
All jewellery sold through this Website—including ready-made designs shown on product pages—is manufactured specifically for each customer after purchase.
Ready-made designs are therefore made-to-order items, not pre-manufactured inventory.
For these designs:
• full payment is required at checkout
• production begins after order confirmation
• delivery time is typically 6–8 weeks
Because these items are produced specifically for the customer, they are considered custom-made goods and cannot be returned or refunded once production begins.
SECTION 9 — RETURNS
Returns are accepted only for gemstones that are part of our existing stock inventory and purchased directly through our Website.
Conditions:
• return request within 14 days of delivery
• gemstone must be unused and in original condition
• buyer pays return shipping and insurance
The following items cannot be returned:
• brokered gemstones
• bespoke jewellery
• made-to-order jewellery
• gemstones reserved for custom projects.
SECTION 10 — WARRANTY
We provide a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover:
• wear and tear
• improper care
• accidental damage.
SECTION 11 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for:
• loss of profits
• loss of savings
• indirect damages.
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
SECTION 12 — PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
SECTION 13 — FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control including:
• natural disasters
• wars
• strikes
• supplier disruptions.
SECTION 14 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Poland.
SECTION 15 — ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
