This Return & Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, and warranties are handled for all purchases made through our website.
1. RETURNS
1.1 Gemstones (Eligible for Returns)
We offer a 14-day return window for gemstones in stock.
You have 14 days from the date you receive your gemstone to request a return—no justification needed.
To be eligible for return, the gemstone must be:

Unaltered, unused

Free from scratches or damage

Returned in the complete original packaging

Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

We will request photos of the gemstone and packaging to verify its condition before authorizing the return.
Please note:

All shipping and return costs are paid entirely by the customer.

The original shipping fee is not refundable.

Unauthorized returns (items sent back without prior approval) will not be accepted.
All gemstone returns undergo a quality inspection upon arrival.
If the gemstone shows signs of use, damage, or alteration—or if any part of the original packaging is missing—we reserve the right to refuse the return and return the item to you at your expense.
1.2 Jewellery (NOT Eligible for Return)
Due to the handcrafted, delicate, and often made-to-order nature of our jewellery, we do not accept returns or refunds on any jewellery items, including:

Bracelets
-
Earrings
-
Made-to-order jewellery

Custom designs

Engraved jewellery

Personalised pieces
These items are considered final sale as they are made-to-order for our customer.

1.3 Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstance:

All jewellery (made-to-order, custom, engraved, personalized)

Earrings (hygiene reasons)

Sale items or promotional items

Gifted items without proof of purchase
2. DAMAGES & ISSUES
All orders must be inspected immediately upon receipt.
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery at:

We insure all shipments during transit.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery, so prompt inspection is essential.
3. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
Shipping and delivery timelines provided at checkout are estimates only.
We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by couriers, customs, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly.
4. EXCHANGES
We currently do not offer direct exchanges for jewellery or gemstones.
If you wish to acquire another item:

Once approved, you will receive a refund or credit note

You may place a new order at your convenience
For jewellery, since returns are not accepted, exchanges are also not possible.
5. REFUNDS
If your gemstone return is approved, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Return shipping costs are deducted from your refund.

6. WARRANTY
We have quality check in place at all stages of our production. All Valentina Leardi jewellery items come with a 1-year warranty covering:

Manufacturing defects

Production flaws
The warranty does not cover:

Wear and tear

Scratches

Broken chains caused by force or misuse

Damages caused by chemicals (perfume, lotions, cleaning agents)

Deformities caused by improper handling

Loss or theft
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, you must notify us within 2 months of discovering it and send the item for inspection.
If the defect is confirmed as a manufacturing issue:

We will repair or replace the item at no cost to you.
If the issue results from misuse or improper care:

Repair services may be offered for a fee.
7. MADE-TO-ORDER & CUSTOM JEWELLERY REPAIRS
For bespoke, made-to-order, or custom jewellery, we offer repair services even after the warranty period.
